Sneaky little footsteps
Rippled pond surface in the evening light
Silent absorbed artistry
Striated wavy patterns on the desert sands
Lively teasing sport
Fluttering chiffon scarf off a damsel’s neck
Sincere loving caress
Wiping tearful eyelashes above ruddy cheeks
Shadows left behind
Touching little gestures of the whimsical wind
Bhishon sundar
Thanks Aheli!
I really like the poem. It is subtle and moving – like the wind.
You are so talented, Roshmi!
Thank you so much David. I really liked how you used the word “moving”…in your comment about the poem. Very poetic!!
Absolutely lovely! I thought it was Haiku, but not quite. It is flowing as it is…
Thank you so much Charlie!!
