Whole Tilapia in light mustard sauce

Whole Tilapia

Ingredients:

Whole Tilapia ( cleaned gutted, descaled)

Tumeric powder

Corriander leaves

Mustard powder

Small onion – 2 portions keep some for the paste

Ginger root

Yogurt or sour cream

Green chillis or red chilli powder

Lime juice

Salt to taste

Cooking oil

Preparation:

If the fish are frozen, thaw in the oven for 10 mins at 350deg F. Make a few onion slices and stuff in the slit belly. Make a thin paste in a blender with rest of the ingredients( except lime juice and oil).

On baking tray with aluminium foil. Add 4 tbsp cooking oil, spread it on the foil. Put the fish and add the thin paste. Sprinkle lime juice on top of each fish.

Bake in the oven at 375 for 20 mins. Broil at 550 deg F for few mins ( 2 to 3 mins) . Keep the light on and check if the skin is becoming brown. Take it out , turn over and broil the other side.

Serve with hot steamed rice. Enjoy!!
