It is believed that Radha, the consort of Krishna, truely fell in love with him, after Krishna left Vrindavan and settled in Dwarka. Here is a song, written by Radharaman Dutta of Sylhet, that depicts her emotions:
Bhromor Koio Giya
Bhromor koio giya
Sri Krishno biccheder onole…
Ongo jay joliya re
bhromor koiyo giya
O Honey bee, go and tell
Being separated from Sri Krishna,
my body burns in the fire of severence
O Honey bee, go and tell
O Bhromor re …
Koiyo koio koyo-re bhromor
Krishno re bujhaiya (2)
Mui Radha moira jaimu re..
Krishna hara hoiya re
Bhromor koio giya
O Honey bee go and explain to Him
I, Radha, will wither away and die
If I cannot be united to Krishna.
O Honey bee, go and tell
Bhromor koiyo.. giya…
Sri Krishno biccheder onole…
Ongo jay joliya re
bhromor koiyo giya
O Honey bee, go…
